That is so hard when you are out in public and have to have a timeout. I commend your willingness to do it, so many other parents wouldn't. I can say from experience that it does get the message across, it might take 2 or 3 times, 5 in our case but no more tantrums in stores. Hope I didn't just jinx myself.
