What's Up
Well, I guess I should add a little bit of a status update. The wife and I are within our last month or so of the pregnancy. We were able to take a breastfeeding class, prepared childbirth (lamaze) class and a parenting class - all where priceless classes. I wish I could have retained all of the information we learned in each of them but I find myself saying, "I remember hearing something about that in the class, but for the life of me, I can't remember what they said." But at least we still have all of our text books we can review within the last few weeks.
The wife's last day of work was on Friday. I am really glad she is done - she already seems to be less stressed - it's quite a load off her mind knowing she can just relax and focus on getting the last minute things together.
My father-in-law came into town today for a visit. It's really great to see him since I missed seeing him when we visited Louisiana on our last trip. The wife is laying on the couch and they are laughing about funny stories from some of our family trips. She has such a great laugh. I wonder what laughing sounds and feels like to our little one she is carrying?
Well, that's what's going on over in our neck-o-the-woods.
